(NEW YORK) _ Influential Italian singer and composer Alan Sorrenti shows no signs of slowing down nearly five decades strong in the music industry. Excited about entering a new dimension of production, Sorrenti delivers atour de force performance for a fresh remake of his 1970s disco cult-classic, Figli delle Stelle. The universal message of Figli delle Stelle is now spreading out across the globe thanks to the brilliant creativity and joyful energy of Louie and Anane Vega with the Elements of Life, together with me, in this great experienceof music, Sorrenti says. Today, Figli delle Stelle represents a message more up to date than ever because we need to feel like we really are, all of us, belonging to the same universe. The track, which became a leading symbol of the Italian dance music scene, was featured on Sorrentis successful album of the same name. Continuing along his musical evolution from early prog/rock artist to disco, Sorrentishares lead vocals with Anane on the new release. Singing in flawless Italian throughout, Anane describes the original as a beautiful, timeless song that has proved to stand the test of time. "The EOL reworking", she adds, "is giving it a new breath of life for all ages to enjoy.Sorrentis emotive falsetto and Ananes warm vocal harmonies give this remix package a fuller sound." Louie Vega, ahead of the curve as Vega Records creator and founder, always welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned and respected musicians such as Sorrenti. This time, he presents two versions of Figli, a12-minute Louie Vega EOL Mix and EOL Radio Edit, tailored specifically for those who appreciate rich instrumental layers steeped in lush vocals. "We are honored that we were asked to work on this Italian classic", the Grammy award-winning producer and DJ says. "We realize how important this song is to the Italian culture and hope to bring it to the forefront of all thedance clubs and parties around the world. Its also a wonderful chance for us to give back to our Italian fans and the Italian community that have always been there for us." Exquisitely arranged, the EOL mixes feature Luisito Quintero commanding the congas, timbales and percussion, Gene Perez perfecting the bass, Sherrod Barnes working guitar riffs, and Josh Milan accompanying Anane onbackground vocals with arrangements in the English language. "Since the entire song was in Italian, we decided to translate and create new melodies in English, we are the children of the stars!" Louie Vega says. If your firstimpulse leads to a sexy dance and hustle in the middle of the floor, dont be surprised. Through the vehicle of music we are keeping this fire alive for the generations to come, Sorrenti says. So I feel honored, delighted and grateful and I wish to keep this feeling growing by making pulsating live shows togetherand a great video.
